The Ross-Blakley Law Library primarily serves the needs of the faculty and students of the College of Law.  Our collections and resources are dedicated to the educational and research pursuits of our faculty and students. The Maricopa County Superior Court Library’s primary mission is to serve the needs of the Maricopa county community. They have many useful resources to help you with your legal matters including:  case information, court forms, a Self-Service Center, and much more. Please consider consulting their website so you can make the best choice for your legal needs.

Reference Services

Our Reference Librarians are experts in legal research methodology and are available to answer questions about legal research.  Contact us during reference hours for assistance.

The Reference desk is located on the third floor of the BCLS building. Please see our reference policies for the types of questions we can answer.

Before beginning your research, please take a look at our Research Guides.  The librarians of the Ross-Blakley Law Library have prepared guides on a variety of legal research topics including Arizona, Federal, and Foreign and International laws.

Computers and Printing

The Law Library has computer workstations available for visitors conducting legal research.  The computers are located on the 3rd floor, near the Reference Desk.   All users must abide by ASU's Computer, Internet and Electronic Communications Policy.

Visitors not affiliated with ASU who need to print or copy must purchase a copy card.  Copy cards are sold in $6 increments at any ASU Bookstore.  The Downtown Phoenix Campus bookstore is located on the 1st floor of the BCLS Building, in the northeast corner.

Guest Wireless Access

Visitors may use ASU's wireless network by signing on with guest access.  Please visit the ASU Guest Wirless Connection Instructions for more information.

Borrowing Privileges

Visitors not affiliated with ASU are welcome to use materials in the library.  Borrowing Law Library materials requires the purchase of an ASU Library Community Card
